Genuine Kinship
At Neighbors in Action (Vecinos en Acción), we believe hope grows through relationships. Our work is not about handing out quick fixes; it is about walking alongside our neighbors in a spirit of kinship, recognizing that we belong to one another.
For more than 30 years, we have practiced the slow, faithful work of accompaniment, trusting that consistent presence, shared life, and genuine relationships create the foundation for lasting transformation. We believe every person is created in the image of God, with gifts to offer and a unique role to play in strengthening our community.
Through spiritual growth, education, and meeting basic needs, we seek to cultivate a community where people are known, valued, and loved—and where everyone has the opportunity to flourish.

Nurturing
Spiritual Growth
We create sacred, welcoming spaces where children, youth, and adults can grow in their relationship with God and on another. From weekly multi-generational Bible studies and youth fellowship nights to specialized retreats, we connect faith with lived action.
Opening Doors through Education
We believe education it the framework needed for tomorrow. By offering afterschool academic support, literacy camps, youth leadership opportunities, and adult vocational and ESL classes, we open the way to a brighter, more independent future.
Providing Stability by Meeting Basic Needs
A strong community is built on stable foundation. We help families weather life's unexpected storms by coordinating essential food distributions, providing emergency rent and utility assistance, offering affordable on-site mental health counseling, and hosting vibrant community celebrations.
