Meet the dedicated team keeping our programs moving forward and walking alongside families every single day.

A Message from Our Executive Director
Dear NIA Friends,

Hope is stubborn. It shows up where you don't expect it. It hangs on when optimism has worn thin. Here in Port Houston, we see again and again that hope isn't just an idea; it grows through people who choose to show up for one another, day after day.

Our community faces real challenges and carries heavy burdens. Yet alongside those challenges, we witness quiet acts of courage every day. We see mothers coming to prayer group even when they are exhausted, fathers showing up for dads-versus-kids soccer nights after long workdays, and neighbors caring for one another in ways both big and small.

At Neighbors in Action, we know the name, face, and story of every child, teenager, and adult who walks through our doors. We celebrate life's joys, stand beside families during difficult seasons, and believe that lasting transformation happens through relationships.

We don't simply serve people - we walk alongside them. Over time, neighbors become friends, friends become family, and together we discover that we truly belong to one another.

In kinship,
K. Meier
